Days 1-2-3: Istanbul
We meet at Istanbul Airport international arrivals terminal (other meeting points can be arranged upon request). Our driver, vehicle and tour leader will be waiting for you at the airport. We go to our hotel and have time to relax and settle in. We have a delicious dinner together and get ready for the next day's journey. We explore Ottoman Empire's heart, Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Galata Tower, Karaköy, Bridges, Taksim, Istiklal Street, Beyoğlu, Panoramic City Tour, Bosphorus Boat Tour, Ortaköy, Ortaköy Mosque. We have free time at local bazaars for shopping.
Day 4 : Çanakkale
We explore Çanakkale, Panoramic City Tour, Witness to history and World War I, Protected World War I Battlefields, War Museum, Troya Ancient City, Martyrs Monument, 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, Temple Of Athena, Kilitbahir Castle, Gallipoli Peninsula, Seyit Corporal Monument.
Days 5-6-7: Izmir
We explore Izmir, Smyrna Ancient City, Pergamon Ancient City, Ephesus, The House of the Virgin Mary, Kemeraltı Bazaar, Alsancak, Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street, Republic Monument, Gündoğdu Square, Şirince Village, Museums, Historical Kadifekale Castle, Tarihi Asansör (Historic Elevator), Konak Square, Historic Clock Tower, Kızlarağası Hanı, Hisar Mosque, Agora Ruins and Open Air Museum, First Bullet Monument, Seven Sleepers Cave, Red Hall Basilica, Acropolis, Pergamon Royal Tombs, Asklepion, St. Polycarp Church. We have free time at bazaars for shopping.
Day 8: Denizli & Pamukkale Travertines
We explore Denizli, Hierapolis Ancient City, Antique Theater, Archaeology Museum, Necropolis of Hierapolis, The Basilica Bath, Gate Of Domitian, Ancient Temple Of Apollon, Agora and Pamukkale Travertines; which is the stunning white calcium pools, which cling to the side of a ridge, have long been one of the most famous picture postcard views. Pamukkale, literally meaning “cotton castle”, is also the site of the ancient city of Hierapolis of which there are many interesting ruins. Pamukkale was formed when a spring with a high content of dissolved calcium bicarbonate cascaded over the edge of the cliff, which cooled and hardened leaving calcium deposits. There is also an Ancient Roman pool named Cleopatra Antique Pool, where our guests can swim and relax. According to history tellers, Cleopatra got her beauty and perfect skin from this pool.
Day 9: Konya
Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Tomb, Museum and Mosque, Alaaddin Hill and Park, Şemsi Tebrizi Tomb and Mosque, Karatay Madrasa. We have free time at local bazaar for shopping. Mevlana, who is known as Rumi, Muslim saint and Anatolian mystic known throughout the world for his exquisite poems and words of wisdom. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love. To him all religions were more or less truth. Rumi, looked with the same eye on Muslim, Jew and Christian alike. His peaceful and tolerant teachings have appealed to men of all sects and creeds. In 1958, Pope John XXIII wrote a special message saying: “In the name of the Catholic World, I bow with respect before the memory of Rumi.” One of Rumi’s favorite poem; “Come, come, whoever you are, wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving, it doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vow a hundred times. Come, come again, come.”
Days 10-11-12: Cappadocia
We explore Ihlara Valley and Canyon, Fairy Chimneys, Derinkuyu Underground City, Hot Air Baloon Tour, Uçhisar Castle, Dark Church, Love Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, Sultanhanı Caravansary, Cappadocia Art And History Museum/Big Sinasos, Pasabağları Museum And Ruins, Goreme National Park, Selime Monastery, Pigeon Valley, Kaymakli Underground City, Avanos Ruins, Devrent Valley, Hair Museum, Çavuşin Mosque, Paşabağlar Örenyeri, Zelve Open Air Museum. We have free time at bazaars for shopping.
Day 13: Kayseri Airport
Our tour ends this day. Our driver and tour leader host our guests to the airport. We are sure that we will meet again in our other tours.
